VE Day Celebrations

To celebrate the end of World War 2, people from around the country held street parties. So we decided to hold our very own Victory Party in Llanhari Primary School.

Classes 6 and 7 put up bunting, enjoyed a plate of 'rationed' food and raised a glass (of milk) to the brave servicemen and servicewomen who fought for our country. We also made a toast to all people who helped to keep us safe, to whom we are very grateful!

Da iawn, pawb, ymdrech ardderchog!

The children brought their gas masks ........ just in case!!

The children raised a glass to all the brave men and women who were part of World War 2.

The children enjoyed their 'rations'!!
