A BIG well done to the children in Class 7 who took part in the Remembrance Service on Friday evening. You read the poem so clearly and with emotion. The room fell silent to listen!

Da iawn! We are very proud of you!

For the Fallen

Robert Laurence Binyon, by artist William Strang.
Laurence Binyon

Poem by Robert Laurence Binyon (1869-1943), published in The Times newspaper on 21st September 1914.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Remembrance Service

Well done to all the children who took part in the Remembrance Service on Friday at St Illtyd's Church Hall memorial. Despite the dreadful weather, the children stood quietly and remembered those who have died or been injured in wars.

'We will remember them.'
