Juniors Christmas Party

Wow! What an awesome Christmas Party!

Thank you to our parents for providing us all with our party food.

Thank also to the DJ who provided the entertainment. We must have requested Gangnam Style about 50 times!!! :-)

We're a bit sad though because it's our last one in primary school. :-(

Christmas Carols in Y Pant

We had a lovely time in Y Pant this morning.

We met up with some new and old friends from E3 and former Llanhari Primary pupils.

We listened to the the other schools sing and also performed 'Hallelujah' to them.

It was lots of fun. Mr Hughes said we 'did the school proud!'

Christmas Dinner

Class 7 would like to say thank you to all the dinner ladies and lunch time supervisors for all their hard work throughout the year.

Our Christmas dinner was delicious. We'll miss it next year when we're in Y Pant.

Christmas Concert

Well done to all of the Juniors for their brilliant performance in Goldilocks last night.

Thanks to all the people who turned out to watch us. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

Dress Rehearsals

Dress Rehearsals went well. The Infants really enjoyed our performance.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow night. Hopefully our Mum's and Dad's will enjoy it just as much! :-)

100% Attendance

First class in the school to get 100% attendance in a week!

We really enjoyed our choc-ice, they were lovely! :-)

Dress Rehearsal

Dress rehearsals in front of the infants tomorrow!

We've all worked hard to learn our lines.

Can't believe it's our last concert in Llanhari Primary!

Sad but also happy times! :-)

Newspaper Articles

Some great writing work completed in class today.

Everyone wrote newspaper articles about the end of World War 2.

We'll be putting some up on display this week.

60's Sue

We had a 'FAB' time this morning listening to our special guest, '60's Sue'.

She told us all about life in the 60's.

We danced and sang along to 'The Beatles'.

We tried on clothes and talked about 60's fashion.

We learned about 'The Cold War' and 'The Space Race'.

We would much prefer to have lived in the 60's than in World War 2.

Thanks for cvopming in to speak to us Sue.

Diolch yn fawr Sue.

:-)

World War 2 - Life in Llanhari

We had a special visit this morning, from Mr Francis, a former teacher at our school and a local historian.

He talked to us about life in Llanhari during the war. It was really interesting hearing about life back then.

We would all like to thank him for giving up his time and we hope to see in school again sometime soon.

Diolch yn fawr Mr Francis.
