Class 7 had a lovely treat today when James brought in his MaKey MaKey device. He delivered an interesting demonstration and all the children had an opportunity to try it out.
Thanks for sharing it with us, James!!
Class 7 listen carefully to the instructions.

Jake's hand could be tapped to produce a letter on the screen.
Well done to Class 7 who worked so hard on their topic BeastCreator.
They worked cooperatively to design and make a SuperBug that would eliminate a super strength aphid that was threatening to destroy the crops of Wales. The results were very impressive!!
In groups, the children came up with a final design for their Super Bug.
The children carefully decorate their creations.
Class 7 used a range of tools, materials and techniques to make their Super Bugs.
We were so pleased with the results.
This Super Bug was called Laser!
This one was called Fern.
This scary creature was called 'Covanum'!
This Tail Stinger would certainly pose a threat to the aphids!!
The bright red 'Virus Tomato' was a great creation.
Could this Poisonous Flyer defeat the deadly aphids?
Class 7 enjoyed an interesting trip to Cilfynydd Education Centre. They completed a river study, did pond dipping and found out about water efficiency. Since the trip, the children have found out more information about rivers and about the Water Cycle.
The children had to find out which part of the river flowed the fastest.
The children were shocked at how many creatures they found in the pond!
